My abs and traction control has been acting up, the lights for them come on usually about 5-10 mins into driving. So I got it scanned, and code P1661 showed up for IPC wiring issue. I haven’t been able to find anybody else with this code relating to the abs lights, so does anyone know what repair I may have to do? FYI: when the lights aren’t on, both the abs and asr systems work fine. Below is the paper showing what the code says.
Your ABS is controlled by a different module. It will have to be diagnosed using an ABS scanner. The trouble codes you pulled are strictly from the PCM. The first code is a MIL fault. It could be the SES/MIL bulb is burnt out. The second code could be from the check valve in the AIR pump system (Part 11).
