Stupid question What is it called when the engine is idling or in 3 or 4th gear and you snap the throttle open really fast and the engine makes a thumping noise and has a slow response? As if something needs to catch up. Bogging, pinging, bucking? My car is running better with the Bosch 3’s/smooth but very random 1 out of 8 times my car will do this.
Could be all of those along with hesitation. You need to get your car on a wide band O2 to see what's going on with your fuel curve. If there are any shops around you with a dyno they should have one. They most likely will not help you with your tune, but can at least see what's going on with fuel.
BTW, you should not drive the car until you find out what your fuel curve is doing. Last thing you want is for the cylinders to be getting washed down with fuel. Very bad things can happen.
