Default CP - SoCAl LT1 mechanic and tuner

Hey Guys

going to see if this gets me anywhere ... also cross posted on the regional section ..
I recently had some work done and the car is not working right ... I first need a solid and knowledgeable mechanic who actually know the LT1 platform and then a solid tuner.
Hopefully in the Los Angeles area but if really good will travel ..

Thanks

Jorge

Can’t recommend anyone, and tuning you’re going to have to do mail order (do a search on this forum for tuners) on account there really are no dyno tuners left who will tune a LTx PCM. What’s going on with the car? Tell your story.

EEhack is a good data logger, lets you mess with some things live while the computer is plugged into the car. Flashhack is a free software program that lets you read and write to the car. You can buy a cable for the car, plugs right into the laptop to the obd1 port, just need to figure out what pin type you have, 12 or 16 pin.

https://www.lt1pcmtuning.com/ Solomon goes pretty good mail order tunes. Does more tune other engines, not just lt1 stuff, can tune for cam and turbo. Best of luck.

Default I’m an LT1 builder

I’m very knowledgeable about building a powerful LT1 engine. I don’t do computer tuning tho. Located in Coachella CA

OP, what work did you have done and what does not work right?

members on this forum may be able to help if they knew wtf your problem is.

Tuning, mail order, works well for typical mods and builds. The list gets short though if you have a OBD2 (86) car. I have used pcmperformance.com

Hey 396 .. thank you for responding ...
do you have a shop or is this a side deal?
you're a bit far but by chance could you pass along your email via PM?

Thank you ....
