Default Wiring problem ? Factory tach

I have a 95 3.4 Camaro that I swapped 93 lt1 into and the tach is not working correctly. At first when the engine starts rpms seem fine but once it gets some heat and should settle down to say 600-700 rpm idle the needle continues to drop to almost nothing and then raising the throttle rpms will increase to somewhere between 1500-2000 then drop back down a few hundred and never climb until my foot comes off the gas. I have two sets of v8 gauges I’ve tried both they function the same, I cut the tach filter off and replaced it made no change. So I plugged in my tech2 to see if it could verify the rpm of the gauges or the engine and it read correctly from what I was hearing from the engine instead of the what the tach is telling me. I also installed an aftermarket tach right after the filter just to verify the filter was working correctly and everything is telling me the correct rpm except factory gauges. Since the gauges are moving I’d like to say my wires are all correct and the fact that the tech 2 is reading correctly but I’m stumped and before I pull all my wires out to trace and double check them for the third time I figured I’d see if anyone had any ideas.
