Default need help with best setup

ok here it is, my 94 formula with 132,000 i drive 140 highway miles everyday but i love to race on the weekends
it started leaking oil from what i think is was a head gasket, my front cam seal is also leaking and i can feel the car was loosing power so time to upgrade and rebuild (rember im in FL NO emissions law).
so hers what im thinking of doing. i would be thankful for any help with this. my heads im sending away for port and polish, then they are getting ported and polished even more from an ASE certified friend, and bigger valves, intake manafold same deal, and a 58mm throttle body, im taking out my cat and putting on an o2 sim. getting headers, and i have a flowmaster muffler which is staying till i get a better one. i want to cam it while i take the pump off, and im getting an electric water pump. so my question to u guys is what combo should i get rember i want as much power as possible i street race and race on the highway. hers what im replcing. and doing.

-extensive heads port and polish+ bigger valves
-springs
-rockers
-valves
-valve seals
-headers
-remove cat
-intake manifold port polish
-58mm throttle
-cam
-bigger injectors??
-cold air intake

ok that what i got so far. i need help on brands and models for the cam and headers. how much power do u think i can get outa this?? (rember emissions not an issue

ditch the 58mm TB and get a 52. i doubt youll need that 58 if your staying NA and 350 cu in. ASE doesnt mean he knows how to port. i hope you trust him a lot cause if he doesnt know what hes doing hes going to waste your money and ruin your heads and still be ASE certified. id just gasket match the intake to the heads. theres not a lot there to port and polish unless you get radical which costs a lot. have your injectors checked while the engines apart. have the flowed and cleaned. you know you might just want to contact someone who offers heads/cam packages and just do it that way. they are proven and will work. its usually better and easier to just do that.

if you want a recomendation on cams though. youll need to give more info like what tranny you have and what gears also.

If you're replacing the throttle body, definitely go 58mm. With a ported intake mani it'd be unjustified to go with a 52mm TB since they cost the same amount and the 58mm TB flows better. Make sure you also swap out the stock catback piping for some 3" stainless piping.

No need for a 58MM tb on an NA 350 as stated before. If you want to go bigger then 52MM get an AZS&M 54MM as the stock intake has 54MM ports to begin with.

I disagree. The intake manifold will be ported, there's no reason not to go with a 58mm TB. If the intake manifold was unported it wouldn't be worth it to port it just for a 58mm throttle body since the gains wouldn't be that much over a 52/54mm tb. However, since the manifold is being ported and he'll be purchasing a new throttle body anyway, it'd be best to go with a 58mm throttle body. I understand what you're saying about hwo the motor will only be a 350ci normally aspirated motor, but there would be absolutely no reason to go with a 54mm TB over a 58mm TB for the reasons I've stated.

It's not like the 58mm is going to cause a loss of power and or torque anyway. So go bigger....for the money its the best.

Exactly my point. I have never seen a 58mm tb produce less power than a 54/52mm tb on the same setup. And considering there's no price difference, it's the intelligentmove to go with the 58mm- even if it only gives you 2-3 horses more.

But that debate is for a different thread, let's continue to offer him advice with his setup.
