Opti crapping out?

Opti crapping out? Ok i just changed the wires, plugs and put a msd coil pack on the lt1 so i know its non of those. Eversince yesterday its been missing really bad, if i try to take off in first it wants to bog and die unless i floor it, but when i do floor it its really slow. The idle is all screwed up itll rev up to about 3 or 4 grand then drop below normal idle.Can someone clue me in to what this might be, i am thinking the opti decided to take a crap, but the car only has 64,000 miles.

my opti coil went about that amount of miles 69,000,i put an lt1 in a 1991 camaro rs.be sure when you change the opti you change the o-ring to or oil will get in your new opti and ruin it to.i had that problem.good luck

Could be plenty of things....have you scanned it yet? What are your IAC counts? Still have your EGR? Check for vacuum leaks, clogged injectors, fuel pressure, leaks at the TB, TPS....man it could be a lot of things. Rule out everything.....if you can get it scanned....check O2's, IAC, MAF, TPS, ECT, IAT's, etc, etc. Does it do this in open and closed loop?
