If your running stock, unported heads with just the rockers and valve springs from the kit, I would guess 320 RWHP with the mods in your signature untuned. Tuned maybe 330 RWHP. I know of people getting 360 RWHP thru an M6 with ported LT1 heads with the LT4 Hotcam.

I'd never have guessed the hotcam would do that well for numbers. Seems like everybody is so negative about the LT4 hotcam; "the hotcam sucks get a cc306" and that sort of comment. From what you're saying, it sounds like I could hit close to 350 RWHP with the hotcam kit, some boltons, and a PCM tune. My goal is to keep it streetable and not too wild, so 350 at the wheels is plenty for me

350-360 is pretty typical numbers for an LT4 hot cam with boltons, ported heads and PCM tune. Alvin (the speed density guru) of PCMforless told me that he typically sees 360 to the wheels with one of his tunes and that set up. Jimmy69 on LT1tech has unported LT4 heads, LT4 hot cam, and boltons put down 365 RWHP thru an M6 (which he said was in bad shape) in his 93 Vette. I talked with Mike Osucha from More Performance when I bought my heads, and LT4 Hot Cam. He said 350 RWHP is typical.

Being a factory designed grind, I'm assuming the hotcam still makes pretty decent gas mileage with the right tune?

its a good choice for anyone wanting a little more out of a cam in their daily driver. it really isnt a bad cam. yes there is better and all the people who say get the 306 instead of the hotcam are dumb. with the 306, you really need gears a TC and ported heads to unlock its real potential. thats a lot of money and its not very streetable to me.
