Default single cat with long tubes?

hey,

just getting some money now, and was thinking definitely some long tubes for the next mod... my quesiton is this:

my friend with a 97Z has a dual cat custom y-pipe, i was wondering if it's possible to retain a SINGLE cat while going with a long tube setup? also, is there any y-pipe out there that consistently fits great, i'd rather just buy one and put it on all myself, but if need be i'll go custom.

in conclusion, i'd like just ONE cat, anyone have pictures of their setup? thanks!

sure but itll be way back there if you have a ypipe off of long tubes. random tech makes a small "bullet" cat that should work. why do you only want one though? two will not hinder the flow any more than one.

magnaflow(Carsound) cats flow very good. I think they are one of the highest flowing out there. I would go with duals though. Better for emmissionss, plus it will sound alot nicer with an X pipe and true duals.
