Emissions or non-emissions long tubes?
Well, I have a '97 WS6 and am going to be getting some Jet-Hot LT's within the next few months. I live in IL and we do not have emissions testing here. I'm not sure what LT's I need to order. Do I want the ones with or without emissions hookups? Is there a power advantage either way? Should I run cats? Somebody please fill me in!

there are emissions testing here....you eman they dont have the sniffer or visual test anymore....youll need your AIR AND EGR fittings in order to pass....you haveta either get 02 Simulators for the rear or weld in 02 bungs for 02 sensors or....delete therear 02's form the computer...your SES light can not come on in order for you to pass the Illinois OBDII (OnBoard Diagnostic II) scan for codes
unless your EGR and AIR are deleted....dont bother getting race headers...unless you plan on removing them....if you really DO NOT have ANY KIND OF Emissions....than just...remove it...itll drop some weight and well...the you can get your race headers....jsut my .02....im getting Kooks or QTP undecided with the AIR fittings for my car since they dont have the EGR
