SES on 94 A4 My SES light is coming on when driving the car but goes off when I'm at idle. I have noticed when the light comes on and the fan kicks on as it does when the car reaches higher temperatures. I thought ask for help before I take it to a $hop to find the problem. I appreciate any input for you all. Thanks.

My SES light would come on and go off, but at all different RPMs. It's the EGR valve sticking. Both fans will kick on when the SES light it triggered. The engine sort of goes into a 'safe' mode.
