new owner, 95Z shutting off at 115

new owner of a 95 Z28, lt1 6 speed, is there supposed to be a speed limiter on this car, its driving me nuts, 116 and its shuttin off, stock gears, not revved too high, does it in i think 4th, 5th and 6th. HELP

If it didnt come with Z rated tires from the factory it will have a speed limiter aorund 115. Sucks but you are going to have to either get a programmer or have someone flash the computer to take it off.

the Govenator has terminated your speed!

whats your speedo's max? if its 115 then your gonna have fun when you get above 115 guessing your speed.
