Default Some horrible 60' times...

My car is stock beside the full exhaust (LTs, true duals) and a SPEC Stage 2. I ran a 14.2@99 at Bristol Dragway w/ a 2.2 and 2.3 60'. I was wondering, if I get Nittos or BFGs, can I be in the 13s?

I heard a saying, can't remember exactly how it goes, "A tenth in the 60' is 2 tenths in the 1/4." Someone correct me if I'm wrong...thanks.

A tenth in the 60 ft on a car like yours should produce anywhere from .15 to .20 in the quarter, don't expect your MPH to jump up alot 1mph maybe 2 mph at most. With good traction and a decent driver, you can expect 13.80 13.90 at 100 mph. That's about what the average lt1 M6 should do. Let us know when you get the tires and we'll have a contest on who's the closest!

General rule of thumb is for every 0.1 you knock off your 60', you knock 0.15 off your ET. So theoretically if you get your 60 down to 1.9 with some stick tires, you should run a 13.75. BTW I have heard that Bristol is a not a good track especially for traction. Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia is even worse.

Ha before this combo I ran 14.3 @ 103mph with a 2.6 60ft! Now thats a horrible 60

You should be able to see a 13.9 at the very least with a 2.0~2.1 60ft as well as a 1 or 2 mph increase. Just get some more practice.

Bristol isn't the best.....very nice track, but not the best when it comes to track prep. Altitude isn't all that great either. Better than Denver though.

I am going to get some Nittos very soon, and hopefully I can get into the 13s
