Default Trickflows are going on

Well, I just picked up a cc305 camshaft, Arp Headstuds, Complete Lt1 gasket kit, New optispark(might aswell change it before it goes bad). Will I need new roller lifters or can i re-use the factory ones? Will I need new pushrods, and if so can yall recommend me towards some good decently priced ones. I've already got gmpp 1.6 roller rockers. Can yall think of anything else i will need? Btw this is going on my gf's 1997 SS M6 with 70k i believe

Stock lifters and pushrods will be fine for the 305 cam.

If you have a 95-97 I would buy a set of hardened pushrods, only like 30 dollars. If you have a lot of miles on the lifters and plan on spinning the car higher to take advantage of the cams new powerband I would change them.

its best to replace the lifters when youre in there........especially if you want to turn any decent RPM and not worry about a lifter collapsing and having to take everything apart all over again..........comp stock replacements are only $170.

Hard to say, haven't really seen any trickflow head setups dyno. If the heads are good i'd say 370ish to the wheels, the cc305 if a fairly mild cam. With a larger cam you should be able to push 390-400 at the wheels.

350-365rwhp, all that work I would use a different cam.

230/236 on a 112LSA or larger depending on the flow of the heads. Call up combo motorsports theyll set you up with the right cam. Do yourself a favor and get new lifters and pushrods. Cheap insurance.

Stock out of box trick flows are going to lower your compression down a good bit, but they flow like a stock lt4 casting, and better when ported (than a ported lt4). Just nede to run a thin gasket, or shave the heads to get the compression up on a stock SB.

Get the Trick flows ported and milled for about 11:1 CR, and a bigger cam like mentioned and I think you should be over 400rwhp, those heads are supposed to be capable of 300cfm which helps alot.

Unless Trickflow has radically altered the geometry of the intake port, you're more likely to see ~275-280cfm out of them. AFR 210's will hit 300cfm in the hands of a good porter. Asking that out of 195cc heads is a bit of a stretch. Still, with a 230/236 cam you should be able to hit right around 400rwhp.

Ditch the stock stamped steel rockers, use your 1.6RRs and absolutely get you some Comp cmoly 1-pc pushrods, worth every penny of valvetrain insurance.

I'd recommend CompR or PN# 875-16 lifters. Set them to zero lash and 1/16th turn (per Comp, some guys go 1/4 preload). Autozone sells a bump start device which hooks to your ign solenoid and hot batt post to bump your car over for setting your valves (makes it much quicker). If you need the "how to" using this method shoot me a pm.

Well the heads are already port. I have 2.08'' intake valves and 1.55'' exhaust valves. The heads have been milled quite a bit so, they should raise the compression. I was trying to get them benched but couldnt find a local place
