LT4 heads??

My cousin have a good deal on a set of ported LT4 heads and intake.The lt4 worth the investment in performance with a like cc305 or cc306 cam with a factory short block?How many HP can i spect out of that combo?Thanks in advace.

IF you can get the heads for a good price, then go for it. the big difference between the LT1 castings and the LT4 is that the LT4 castings have larger runners.

just out of curiosity, what sort of deal did you find?

LT4 ported heads new spring and retainers & LT4 intake manifold for $1100.What you think.They have about $700 just in perf. upgrades!!

That sounds like a good deal to me. I would take them to a speed shop and have them ppd. Those heads will flow 300 CFM @ 0.6 inches lift easy if done right.
