Default 150 shot or not

My Lt1 only has 73000 miles on it and ive been spraying 100 shot on it all day long. I wanna do a 150, but I have a stock fuel system and stock bottom end. Do you think My car could handle it with no problems?

I would upgrade the fuel pump. The bottomend is more than up to a 150 shot. I know of one b-body running over 400hp NA plus a 200+ an 80 shot, that is right two stages for a total of 280hp nitrous on top of over 400hp NA. People do not give stock parts enough credit.

I'm new to Camaro's, but I've been hearing 150 is pushing it? My Z has an upgraded fuel system, and it's set up for nitrous (colder plugs, cam specs etc already), and the guy still told me it would be a gamble at 150, and recommended 100 for regular use. WHat's the general consensus?

It's been said that a 150 shot is the most you wanna go with stock fuel pump and injectors. I say you can run a 150 shot stock. That's what I'm going to be doing when I start off in the coming summer.

150 should be alright. The bottom end will take it all day long. Still, a bigger fuel pump couldn't hurt but it isnt totally necessary.

IMO a good fuel pump is cheap insurance. I ran a 175 shot on a stock longblock, and had an upgraded fuel pump. gotta remember, some of these stock parts are 10+ years old,why gamble the engine on a $100-140 part?

So the limiting factor is the fuel system? I've got a Walbro 255lph Fuel pump Kit, so does that mean I shouldn't be concerned about a 150 shot from a wet kit?

150 is a safe bet , to many cars running it with little to no problems. Buy the safety stuff and less worries!

Walbro pump should be all you need as fuel system upgrades go.
