Vette TPS Sensor Adjustment

I have a '94 LT1 Vette, and recently replaced the throttle position sensor. The manual said to use a Tech 1 to put the computer into a "learning mode" to detect the new voltage ranges. Is there any way to do this without a Tech 1 ?

shouldnt need to. the lt1s TPS zeros itself and cant be adjusted. should be able to just unplug it and plug in the new one and go.

I have the same car and replaced mine 3 months ago. No adjustment was needed,just plug and play!!!
