Thumbs up Another pleased Delteq customer!

I can't believe how easy the install is with this setup. Very nice work, packaging, simple instructions....the thing that took me the longest was finding an auto parts store around here with heat shielding for the #5 wire.

I have Hooker LT's and (previously) OTVC and my stock heat shielding was tossed years ago.

I didn't have a single problem with the install and it runs smoothly up to redline. I do notice a very slight hesitation starting, which I have read some other folks have noticed as well....she still fires quickly but not instantly like she did before. Regardless, I wouldn't go back to the opti anyway

Like I said, the product is great and the customer service is outstanding. If I got their VM, I was given a call right back. One time I called and didn't leave a message and five minutes later James called me back because he saw my number on the caller ID. Great product, great service.....highly recommended and $600 very well spent!

Dustin

Thats cool it worked for you. I on the other hand could never get it to work. The customer service defiantly was the best i have ever gotten from probably store or internet shopping, but delteq kept trying to blame it not working on my car having other problems like low voltage or other thigns that needed to be replaced and the kept questioning me on if i installed it right. What year is your car? i have a 93 camaro. Does anyone know if it might have comatibilty issues with 93's because the different computer or speed density thing with no MAF? Heck i dont know but i was bummed out. Isnt this basically what is on the v6 camaros? BEN

I have a 97. What problems were you having? There shouldn't be any problems with a 93 versus any other year (aside from the standard non-vented opti problems). How old was the opti? Did you pull it to check the optical wheel to see if there was rust or corrosion?

That surprising to hear....I've heard only positives. LTCC on the other hand was having quite a few issues when they came out.
