pacesetters and lanes true duals gave my friend's 96 awesome gains and a great sound.

I've got them in stock ready to go. All the sets I've sold have gone out of state, so i unfortunately do not have installed pics of the headers. But all I sell are Kooks headers here at my shop, and if I know Kooks, I know they will be the best header you will ever put on your car. Guaranteed.

Ellis, I'm going to be buying some real soon...as soon as my tax rebate comes in. I'll send you all the pics you want when i get em, just tell me what you want to see. As far as the y-pipe goes tho, I'll be making my own (as you know) so that won't be the kooks one.

any updates? new 95'z28/m6/LT1 owner here. Do the headers come with install hardware? are there other parts needed for them to work properly?(besides the m18 plug, EGR adapter) would the GMMG exhaust work well with these headers? thanks for any info/help. Im looking foward to the pains/gains of owning a genII4thgen

I have recently lowered the car with Eibach Pro-Kit springs and Bilstein struts on all 4 corners. This setup is supposed to be good for a total of 1.3" lower front and rear. I placed a soda can underneath the car up AGAINST (touching) the y-pipe for reference. I can get a video of my car idling/revving with the kook's LT's and a cutout if someone can host it for me..

looks good! I am going with the prokit/bilstein combo too so my stance will be similar. So what happens if you need to remove the longtubes, now that they are welded (ie engine removal)

The headers bolt on to the heads, and the collectors are a slip-fit design to go onto the y-pipe.

They look nice as hell.. I still have yet to see a pair on an LT1, only ever seen them on LS1s. If the next F-Body I buy is an LT1-car then I'll definitely be investing in a pair of these.

THAT is what I was looking for!

IF you get a chance could you measure how much lower they are compared to the Cross member?

Again thanks!

sorry for reviving this thread, but due to my looking at buying another LT1 i was doing some researching and i think i'll definitely be buying a pair of these when I get it.

anyway, the point of the revival was for me to ask if anybody else has them installed.. more pics would be awesome.

enisguy, I'm in the process of installing them now. I had a bolt snap off on one of my heads, so I'm waiting to borrow a welding machine to get that sucker outta there. I'll keep you updated.

Thanks bro. Money is tight around here so I may just end up with a set of coated pacesetters, but if I can scrounge up enough Kooks are (obviously) my #1 choice.
