Fastest LT4 hotcam car?
13.1 @106 , 2.1 short time
(warm VERY humid night) Damn, I have been so ashamed to say that. My real problem is gearing. My 2.59 rear keeps me way out of my powerband up top (I cross the traps in 3rd @ 3500 RPMs
) I'm sure with some decent gears and tires I would be mid to low 12s. Stock LS1's up here usually run 14.4-14.9. With CAI, Hotcam, 1.6 rr's, LT's, catback, 3200 stall and 3.73's I ran a 13.2 @ 103 on street tires with some pretty significant float in the upper RPM's. The DA on that day was just over 10K....so you do the math.

I think I am gonna try Reynolds some next year.and with the 17" E/T streets I have purchased, I should go mid to high 11's at Ennis this year.
Since I moved to Albuquerque, the physical altitude is 5,300 ft. here, with typical DA's at 7,000-8,000 ft. The best I've been able to pull off here is a 14.60 @ 98.
I've also dyno'd here in Albuquerque. In comparison to Seattle, my dyno sheets are showing a 54 rwhp and 64 rwtq loss at the wheels.
It's pretty disheartening to go backwards in power/e.t., and now all my hopes of hitting a 12 sec. e.t. with just a Hotcam are out the door.
I will be installing a Hotcam in my car in the next couple months. Can't wait to get it off the workbench and into my car finally.
