Engine sensor fuse???
Engine sensor fuse??? Well got my 396 up and running and was great , put on the break in miles and was going to dyno it. for some reason it kept blowing the engine sensor fuse?? Any clues? I got a schematic from a buddy for the car to check out what all is tied in to this fuse that may be causing it? Sucked could not dyno it with the MAF going crazy. good news is with it being incredilbly lean and @5800 rpms put down 380 hp , but shut it down when we could not resolve the issue! Timw will tell what good A/f and 6500 rpms will get me!
I had the same problem on my car. FOR A FACT, i can tell you that one of your o2's is grounding out!!!!!! probably on a header primary........ Mine was on the passenger side, look very closely............. also do a search on this forum,,,,,,, i found A LOT of answers on this site!!! All that runs off the Engine Sensor Fuse is the MAF, all 4 o'2, and for a 6 speed the reverse lock out solenoid......
