Default Need Help identifying something

i need to put my msd plug wires on and i got ovc looms. problem is there is a bracket and something connected to it above the driver's side valve cover. ive never seen it on anybody's car before. there is a plastice cover on it that says something about see manual for throttle adjustments. hopefully these pictures will show up. nevermind there too large. anyway its a bosch unit. i can't find it in my manual. i have pictures that i can email if you need to see them. i really need to know what it is and if i can get rid of it or relocate it. thanks ahead of time.

Nope it could only be one thing welcome to traction control! LOL. And yes u can get rid of it. You just need to get a throttle cable for a non-traction car. and it would help a bunch to get it programmed outta ur computer but its not TOTALLY necessary. I just unplugged my unit from the plug and tied the plug up so it wasn't hanging anywhere

Ya just get rid of it I'm sure u never use it anyways. I drove my Camaro thru a whole winter and never once turned it back on. I hate the damn thing. U get stuck in the snow and u cant even try to spin the tires to get down to pavement. Then there's those pesky times when u forget that it's there and go to nail it and bog

I'm hosting this pic for him and since I haven't seen ASR on a LT1 F-body, I'm guessing that's what it is.

Actually, that's a good q. most don't really know
"Acceleration Slip Regulation" = Traction control

this will also help with any other acronyms in question
