Default 93 IAC Valve

I think mine needs to be cleaned because sometimes my car barley wants to idle and sometimes it idles high. I know 93's are different than 94+. Has anyone done this? Can anyone tell me how to if its easy.

Thanks

The 93s are a bit different. You have to take your throttle body off and then take the IAC off. The whole thing is a big nut if you know what I mean. Its like 18 mm or something but I used a locking crescent wrench. Dont forget to unplugg it. Ive also heard its bad to soak it in too much liquid so try to be careful. If that doesnt work you probably need a new one for about 62 bucks. Use carb cleaner but sparingly. By the way Im new here and this is my first post!

Just remember the 93s are the only ones that screw in. The whole thing screws into the throttle body.
