anyone know the problem here?

my TA is shifting weird. to start off when i put the car in drive.. it takes literally 2 or 3 seconds before it actually kicks into drive. and the shifts feel alittle "loose" for lack of a better word. just weird. also I hit the gas on the highway, and the enigine always used to shoot up to redline and kick into gear. but now it hits the rev limiter acouple times before the gear actually kicks in. it just seems like the tranny or something is really slow.

anyone know what this is and how serious? thanks guys.

Sounds like you need the tranny rebuilt....

Checked your fluid lately? Sounds like it could be a little low. How many miles are on the trans? It could just be "its time" for lack of a better expaination.
