LS1 intake for b-body?
A lot of people are very fast to point at Vette or f-body parts in an effort to make a b-body faster, but they are often wrong, I am sure you could cobble something together with the LS1 Vette intake but it could not be better than the SSRI or RAISS and would be more hassle. I know a guy that before he found forums to do research on swapped his iron heads for a set of Vette heads just because they were Vette heads so they had too be better. Only after the swap and lack of power increase did he find out that the particular heads he used flowed as well as the ones he pulled off but no better and that most Vette LT1 heads flow less than what he yanked off his motor. My point is Vette or f-body does not make parts better they are just parts meant for another car, there will be cases where some are useful but not many. The f-body cam for instance is a little bigger than the b-bodies but in a b-body will fell slower since it makes the same torque just at a higher rpm, not good in a 4200+lbs. b-body but good in a traction challenged f-body.
