IIRC (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) But I followed the TDC method and I set the rocker to 0 lash and then gave the nut 3 good 1/4 turns, and then reefed down on the locks. Then again that's How I remember setting mine up?

It is the same as the gen 1 sbcs, EOIC= Exhaust Open, Intake Closed. Which means right when the exhaust is beggining to open (as close to the actual start of movement as possible) you adjust your intake. Just as your intake beggins to close you then adjust your exhaust. Of course it is easiest to do this with a second person handy to bump the engine (just don't forget to disconnect the coil) unless you have the engine out and then you can obviously turn the crank maunally. Also make sure you tighten the snot out of your set screws since I didn't once, and only once (ouch).
