Probably should go in the LT1/LT4 section.......Jet-Hot has best bang for the buck, but just save up enough money and buy the new Kooks headers

Jet Hot LT's on this man's '94. Don't screw around with shorties IMHO it's a waste of time.

Jet Hot LTs are great, they even have them now where they are compatible with 93 emsions hook ups. Do it once and do it right, no point in buying shorties then switching later on, thats just a waste of money and not to mention time.

we recently installed a set of longtubes and Lanes true duals on my friend's 96 Z28, install only took about a day and the gains and sound are unbelievable. great setup and if i were to pick up an LT1 i would definitely go with this setup.

Ditto. Pacesetter long tubes are by far the best bang for the buck headers!

long tubes period..... dont know which is the best bang for the buck, but pacesetter is really cheap......... best headers would go to Kooks, not cheap.... but good investment...

The brand is of personal opinion, but I would definately without a doubt put on long tube headers.....Kooks are good headers....

im gettin ready to buy LT headers pretty soon. seems like you guys are tossing around pacesetters and Jet Hot's for the best bang for the buck, but which one fits better? like easier to install??? i'm no mechanic but i'm looking for something where i wont have fitment problems and have to bend stuff around (ive neard stories). i'll also be having a custom catted-y made. what do you guys think?

Jet Hot coated Hooker LT's here and love 'em.

The Jet Hot design is basically the same as the Hooker LT's....fitment isn't bad and I'd also suggest a custom y-pipe....less expensive than buying mass produced and you won't have the rare occasion of fitment issues.

I have Jet Hot LT's and really like them. If you have the cash, the Kooks look like a really nice product. I agree with GhostZ, get a custome y-pipe made or go with custom duals. I have the Hooker y-pipe (coated by Jet Hot) and I plan on taking it off. I will probably go with a x=pipe seup with bullet mufflers (they sound awesome).
