Anyone know what the difference is
Anyone know what the difference is between a 3rd and 4th gen's exhaust with single cat is? are the hangers in different positions? is the intermediate pipe lengths different? what would be the biggest challenge to installing one?
goes farther out where? farther out towards the center of the vehicle or farther out the back which would put the muffler farther back? i can get a great deal on an exhaust but it fits 3rd gens and my int. pipe has been destroyed and rebuilt and is a mess so if i can use even the int. pipe and have the axle pipe made to work then it would be a great thing.
It goes out to the side more...like the y pipe. Its hard to explain. Towarads the passanger door more, hows that? If you are trying to mate a 4th gen exhaust to a 3rd gen or vice versa you'll need to make piping.
