Default Will an LS1 Cat-Back Fit LT1?

So will it? I really like the Bassani cat-back, either the Quiet Thunder or the Street Competition, but they don't make a kit for an LT1. I figure it will fit because the frame of the car is the same.

There is an extra section of pipe for LT1s since our y pipe is very different. The cat back won't bolt right up due to this, you will need custom piping made.

basically you will need that S pipe if you run single cat car, the dual cat cars will bolt right up the only reason you need the install is i guess they assume that you dont have your stock hangers, installed a Lm on a 95 t/a and the stock hangers in the rear were the same that i got from there install kit..

I had a SLP totl from a 97 SS on my 98 LS1, like loudmouth LT1 said the y-pipe is different, I used my I pipe right before the axle and the TOTL fit up nicely over the axle, and the hangers were in the same place.
