Default how do you indentify a hotcam?

Hey Guys I need help really bad I got this so call hotcam but I'm not sure if it is or not. The numbers/lettering I found are "241.CPC.BC PC.BC.1" Then at the back of the cam the number "8" is found and on one of the journals there is a letter "F". I hope I explain it correctly, in any case any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Call Comp and see if they can help you....that would be your best bet. I don't have my Hotcam laying around anymore so sorry I can't help further.

GM'S "HOTCAM" Will have the following on ALL HOTCAMS~(lt4)
They will have a green paint stripe on it,And it will have the #'s 586ac on the end of the camshaft!!!! If it does not have this~it is not a hotcam!

Thanks guys, all good help, my cam that suppose to be a hotcam has none of that, which tells me its an aftermarket clone hotcam, if thats what it is. In any case I really appreciate the help. Thanks.
