My oil pressure been at 0 psi at idle for years, no noise seems like it’s fine. Been daily driving for years. Odometer is at 200K miles.

Im pretty sure the sending unit is bad or stock gauge way off. Ill have to put a manual gauge on it when i get time.

 

My 97 does the same thing. DId a compression test and the lowest cylinder was over 180. Some were well over 200.

I think the gauge or sender or cluster is messed up, usually the pressure reads really low (or zero) but then it will every so often spike to pegged..
