the accel shorty plug an lt1 calls for is P526S its a platinum plug at 12.99 a pop is there a non platinum shorty plug that will work or that someone has had luck with im just tryin to avoid 100 bucks for a set of plugs

im goin to get a standard plug and see what my header to plug clearence is like but im pretty sure im goin to need the shorties

i cant find a 526s anywhere
thats what i tried first because it makes logical since but it turned nothing up which is wierd

how about the nos guys that run shorty plugs what are they running

I run autolite 104s in my car. One heat range colder then stock, a bit shorter then standard plugs. No issues

Check Jim Pace, he's a little cheaper. I just posted a thread about this a few weeks ago. I'm getting them for $8.50 a pop but I get a discount through Advance Auto.
