someone told me it is the oil pressure sensor? is it hard to replace? would it hurt if i drove for a day or 2 without replacing it? do i have to drain the oil to replace it? sorry for all the questions i just need my car.(i think i broke it doing my headers)

Wow a 93 is set up different underneath. If it's what I think it is then it's a low oil sensor. On the 94+ cars its in the drivers side of the oil pan and looks different then that. It's hard for me to tell if thats in the oil pan or not...if it is they yes you'll need to drain the oil out unless you want it to leak out when you remove that sensor.

its not on the oil pan, it is right above the oil filter. i already have the oil out so that wont be a problem.

Oil pressure sensor would be my guess. Esp if it is near the oil filter.

Oh and btw just a heads up. Most GM op units are not a normal socket. I believe they have 10 sides? I cant remember but on my GTP it made it a PITA to get out.

If you can reach it with a socket or extension then all you have to do is take it out and replace it. If it isnt a normal socket like I said above I'm sure an auto parts store has a socket for it... or even a dealership. I used channel locks on the GTP. Like I said... that was a royal pain in the rear. I would suggest finding the socket.

my oil sensor broke a while ago.. i found out cuz i leaked oil
but the 94 setup is different so i dunno. i would take it to a dealer maybe. i did when mine broke and it was 100 bucks and im in cali so everythings expensive.
