torque arms?

Talking torque arms?

hello f-body people,
i have switched to what i hear is a much better forum here than at automotiveforums.com. i have been looking at the edlebrock non-adjustable torque arm on ebay for $160, i was wondering if anybody has one of these or knows how they compare to other brands and adjustable torque arms. and do you really need a torque arm to be adjustable?

It's better to have an adjustable so you can change your pinion angle to how your car likes it best. Some cars will like -1 or -2 on the street while others will like 0. I'd go for the adjustable.

what factors would effect what pinion angle you would need?

Lowered car, lower rear control arms, relocation brackets on the control arms, shocks. Some cars will just like a different setting better then others.

Reading around on some other boards, there have been some problems with Edelbrock TA's. Read up before you jump to buy one.

i went ahead and bought the edlebrock adjustable torque arm, if i had enough $$ id probably have gotten a spohn tho. im planning on getting the lower control arms too, if i get lca's-should i get the relocation brackets as well, what are the effects of that combination. and one last question, with all this new stuff what pinion angle should i set the TA at-im at stock ride height.
