Default difference between the lt4 and the lt1?

soon i will buy a c4 corvette with an lt4 engine and a 750 auto tranny
i wonder what is the difference between the lt4 and the lt1
and do they take the same modifications and aspects
and do those engines perform the same
and what is the potential of the lt4

With the 'vette, I believe you'll have different cam + 1.6 rockers + heads/intake with raised runners and larger valves, higher compression, different timing set, different starter, 4 bolt straight mains instead of two-bolt, two knock sensors instead of one, reversed fuel rail from the fbody. No EGR valve to worry about.

Umm.. that's all I can think of. The LT4 is a good base to build a motor from...

only '96 corvettes with manuals were LT4s so if it has an auto it is a modified LT1.
