Default Well.....

I'm also having a problem with my opti as far as i know BUT ... here's my problem....

even a SLIGHT touch of the throttle will cause my car to miss, buck etc. so here's what i did.

I pulled my opti last Sunday, didn't notice anything broken or burned or any coolant that had dripped on it. I bought a new opti from Jason Cromer and tried to compare the two. I found that when i spin the shaft from the opti going into the cam on my old optispark, i hear almost a dragging/grinding noise. On my new one i hear no such noise, very smooth.

You might try something similar when you pull your optispark. I believe that the bearings in the optispark for the sensor have been destroyed (just my opinion). This will hopefully solve my problem, but nothing is ever certain on a LT1.

hope this helps...
