Lt4 Km?

Do I have to disconnect the negative terminal from the battery and wait 20 minutes after I install the new KM to reconnect it? I got one cause I got headers/ORY/cutout and don't want any false knock.

Some people say it may short out a circuit disconnecting the PCM pieces.

If theres no power to the PCM (disconnect neg batt cable) then it can't short anything.

I'm asking if I should disconnect the negative terminal before I unplug the PCM and you asked my why would I do that...now you're saying it can't short anything out...

I asked if I should disconnect the negative terminal, put in the LT4 KM, and wait 20 minutes, then reconnect the negative terminal. All I need to know is if I need to disconnect the battery before unplugging the PCM, otherwise am I risking shorting out a circuit.
