quick question about a code hey guys, i scanned the car the other day and it came up with code 1361...
igntion coil control circuit high voltage. any idea on what that means? and please tell me it doesnt mean that it deals with the opti! i think it means that there is something wrong with the coil but i have no idea! thanks in advance for any and all help

Well it means that the coil on the "control circuit" I'm guessing that the primary side (coils have primary and secondary sides) is getting to much voltage, so there are a few options, theres an open along one of the wires going to the coil, the PCM is having a problem or the primary side of the coil is junk and its time for a new one. CHances are its the coil crapping out or an open some where.

thanks alot, sorry it took me so long to say that but i kinda gave up on the thread lol. but thanks for letting me know. guess i will take a look at a coil!
