O2 sensor interchangability?
O2 sensor interchangability? on my 94 z. my o2 sensors went belly up on my the other day. started running like crap. so i unhooked them and it ran fine.
i was wondering, i have 2 brand new bosh 1 wire o2 sensors. could i use them instead of the ones with 3 wires? or 4 wires, which ever one it is.
couldnt i just hook up the signal wire and be done with it. i mean they are like 2 inches from the manifolds. im sure they wont have a problem heating up enough.
just let me know. cause they are 57 bux for replacement sensors
by the time the coolant heats up enough to go into closed loop mode the sensors should be WELL hot enough to work right. i mean less then a foot.
