Default About to order a clutch for my Z

I think its time...What does everyone suggest for a good strip strip clutch...I dont want any chattering but I want something that will hold anything I throw at it. I was thinking SPEC Stage 3 with the lightweight pressure plate option and their billet steel flywheel...Does anyone know of any sponsors having deals on these right now?

Go with the stage 4. Stage 3s are infamous for having the sprung hub self destruct.

Stage 4? Do you think that would be good for a street car? I dont want an on/off type clutch...What do you think about Mcleod?

Depends what your definition of a street car is.

I drive my car on the street with the stage 4, only problem i ever had was when i got stuck in 6pm friday traffic on one of Kansas city's busiest highways.

After about 30 mins of moving forward 20 feet every 30 seconds or so the clutch got hot and started to groan and be very grabby. I pulled off at a gas station and let it sit for about half an hour, then it was fine again.

It definetly isnt an "on/off" feel, you can ease into it just like the stock clutch for a smooth take off. I think the Mcleod street twin and single disk setups are both good, but probebly suffer from the same problem as the stage 4 in very heavy traffic.

I got a spec 3, and love it. Huge difference over stock, not bad for daily driving.
