opti conversion/protection

couldnt you just put a plastic box around an opti to prevent it from getting wet or is that a bad idea?

if that wouldnt work, what kinds of ignition conversion options work best? and how much do they cost?

run a search for "LTCC", "Dynaspark", and "Delteq"

All decent options to replace the opti with, I'll be going with the Delteq on my next LT1

I have the Delteq and love it...well worth every penny I spent.

I have a delteq and my optispark STILL went bad. Just FYI, make sure your exhaust doesn't rattle your car (so as to not make bolts and nuts rattle out of their places).
