Supercharging my Lt1

From: Las Vegas.. back in san jose..
Supercharging my Lt1 ok so my buddy and president of my car club was telling me that it would be pointless to get a supercharger on my stock lt1 motor....he was saying that a lt1 with heads and a cam would smoke me....he said the only way to effietly run a supercharger would be to get a 383 stroker or something like that...whats ur thouhgt...??

My thoughts are that he's an idiot. A stock LT1 plus a blower equals very good power due to the high compression ratio of the stock LT1 motor.. but the motor won't last as long as it would NA.

well thats what i was thinking too...but i thought about my motor with a supercharger..i dont think it would last too long...it has 80k..maybe i should just squezze..?...thanks for the info about the Sig.
