Default lt4 conversion?

i have a 1994 lt1 formula and was wanting to go to an lt4 conversion kit from summit its$2,329.95 lator after long tubes and true duels but it sayes 1996-97 not 94 would this work for me or not and if so is it worth it? they say that its a proven 425+ hp

I personally think that you should go with someone like Lloyd Elliot at www.eportworks.com. He does some killer heads for a lot better price. For what you pay for that kit, you can have a car that will put down 400+ to the WHEELS with a set of ported stock castings! Do a search over on www.camaroz28.com and you will see a lot of satisfied customers.

Do what he said. Ported LT1 heads will outperform stock LT4 heads. Plus if you go with the LE package you get a custom cam ground to match the heads. I believe the price for the LE3 package (highest performance) is only like $1800.
Now if you plan on getting the LT4s hogged out at some point and stepping up to a bigger cam, then you will have a monster on your hands.

lt4 conversion isn't worth it. Lloyd is who I recommend of course. See sig for times.
