A couple of issues In the last week I began to hear a ticking. It could be a blown header gasket, but I doubt it. Another option is in the past two years I haven't revved it much past 6200 and a about two weeks ago I went to the dyno and sprayed up to about 6600. My third option is I took out a spark plug to make sure that there was no detonation and I possibly didn't make it tight enough. I have comp rods and rockers, the rest in sig, Any ideas?

check the header gaskets. spray increases heat dramatically and will sometimes burn up a gasket if its not tightened down good. tapping could be lifter as well so take off the valve covers and check the movement of the pushrods while they are seated between the lifter and rocker. if all seems fine, start the motor and check the lash on all of them and listen for valvetrain noise issues.
