What Cam For This Setup??

Default What Cam For This Setup??

i running my 94 ta with the lt4 conversion and im not impressed at all..im takin it back apart to get the heads ported. (i am currently at 11.2:1 compression) i need a better cam i dont like that "hot cam" at all! i have a built A4 with a 2500 stall and i will be goin with 4.10 gears and a 125-200 shot of juice please help me out with what cam would give me best results thanks

okay well if you just want a quick fix get a different cam. the lt4 hotcam is about useless, just fyi. I would go custom grind if your going to do NOS or check out the XE-R series. If you want the most common recomendations then here they are for aggresive setups....cc306, gm847, gtp-6. Also...get a bigger stall...3200 ish because these cams respond well to them and with your heads being ported etc your powerband will be a little higher. Another thing...ditch the 4.10s. You will run out of gear way too fast especially on the spray unless you are running a 30" tire or something huge like that. Just my .02

4.10 suck big time, my friends formula had them with the a4, and the car seem to have no top end. anyways go 3.73 thats what he did and it still acts great on the highway.
