speed density on 94 - how hard, can it be done?

Default speed density on 94 - how hard, can it be done?

i want to take my 94 mass air set up and go to speed density so i can change my induction set up. how hard and can it be done with the factory 94 pcm. any info please,.

It can be done,just need a competent tuner thats familiar tuning in speed density mode....Other than that i see no other issues than tuning in the main VE table...

man i forgot all about asking u. damm i am getting old. may 8th i make 36. so any info on how long it will take and does the drivability as for as race happen. like loads up,dies, or any strange things.;

It takes a while only because you'll have to flash and reflash over and over to get it close,Since you cant edit real time...If the Ve is done right, you shouldnt have any drivebility probs.. first off may be rough but just take your time and dont get frustrated...Main thing is if its way rich dont let it run in that condition long or your rings will come out sharp enough to shave with them.And dont feel bad I'll be 36 in oct.. lol

i dont think you can do it with LT1 edit for the simple fact that the lt1edit program breathes off of the MAF, thats the only way to basically tune the motor with that program is with the MAF. the best and most painless way is to buy the accel setup that gives you a computer and wiring harness that you just switch over and plug and go. ive swapped my engine wiring harness once already and it wasnt too bad, its just alittle time consuming. it took maybe 4 hours total, but thats if you know what your doing and if you know whats what and what goes where
