Default Header install on a 93 Trans Am

I am getting a set of Jet Hot coated Mac headers for my 93 TA. I plan on installing them myself. Any and all input on the install is greatly appreciated!!
Thanks in advance!!!

Put new motor mounts in while you are doing the headers, I didn't and ended up with a collector hitting front suspension every time i get on the throttle. Have to take the headers back out to change the mounts now.

Not sure with hooker/jethots. But with my pacesetters, all I had to do was remove the steering linkage (was out anyway while installing Unbalanced Engineering's Rag Joint Eliminator.) Un bolted passanger side motor mount (as stated previously, replacing motor mounts while doing headers) the driver's side header slid right in from the top.

After jacking up the passanger side of the motor, the passanger side header slid right in from the top as well.

As far as tools. Not sure if you'll have to do this with the hooker/jethot design. But the pacesetters leave no room to use regular tools for turning the header bolts. So I had to take a 3/8" closed wrench, and make the side walls of the wrench thinner. So it would fit over the bolt, and inbetween the primary and the side of the bolt. Worked like a charm. This being on the locking Breslin header bolts 1" long.

total install took about 1hr but most of my stuff was removed anyway (steering linkage/alternator) from a previous head gasket install.

OMG, I just sort-of finished mine up today after about a week. I still have to swap out the gasket on one side and re-tighten eveything. Some tips:

Take your time,DON'T USE MAC COPPER GASKETS!, Set aside a couple of days to do this, if something goes wrong it could take you a while to get everything back together, Be careful removing the old header bolts so you A.) don' break off the one in the very back B.)Strip one of the bolt holes

I literally just finsihed up my install a few hours ago, I still have a lot to do before it's "perfect" but if you run into any problems PM me, it's still fresh in my mind and I might be able to help you.
