Shortblock options for turbo
i want it to rev high so i was kinda thinking along the lines of a forged 327 or 355.. however i want to get the most RELIABLE power out of it that i can what would the advantages and disadvantages be of a smaller motor like the 327 or 355 against something like a 377 or 383 stroker with the turbo on it? keep in mind this motor has to hit pretty high speeds and i dont want lag
If I were you I wouldn't worry as much about the bottem end taking all of the abuse as I would the valve train. LT1 springs (stock and aftermarket) are notorius for coilbinding...Just ask me how I know.
.I don' t think that you will experience too much lag. I'd just forge the stock shortblock and turbo the fu*k outa it!
