Exhaust Cutout

Exhaust Cutout Im decideing between an electric cutout or just a regular cutout right now. Question is, will my car pass inspection and how much better will it sound? Anyone have a neighborhood price to have one installed and welded in? Thanks

well i have a cutout and no cat and i live the way my car sounds...my cut out is always open and i dont have any problems...with the cat gone there will be issues with emmisions...but u can jhust cap off the cutout and ull pass emmision so my opinion is to not mess with any eletric cutout or **** like that just get the cut out keep it open and when u want it closed crawl under ther cap her off not too bad...but thats just my .02 also mine cost me 50 bucks to get the cutout put on and the cat taken off with a 3 in pipe put inplace of it
