Ordered some new parts today Well, since Eaton doesn't sell a 2-series carrier posi and I have 2-series gears, I've decided to order the Eaton 3-series with 4.10s. I know its a bit much with an A4, but I figure my car already isn't the most street friendly, why not make it more so, but still go faster??? Can't wait to see what this does for my 60' times and ET at Cedar Falls on the 21st. Hopefully I don't loose too much traction.
Ive got 4.10's and a 3500 stall and its not that bad at all. I actually get better gas mileage than with 3.23's on the highway somehow.
What tires do you run at the track? I dont know if the new gears will help you 60' that much. I went from a 1.67 best with 3.23's to a 1.63 with the 4.10's. Same track, same weather, same setup. Should be enough to bump you into the 11's tho.

I currently am running Nitto DRs, but that will be changing soon. I plan on ordering a set of the MT ET radials and put those on my old 16" wheels and keep them as a track set (or if i know I will race someone at the local cruise strip).
