Default 1.6 Roller Rockers

Im curious how many LT1 guys put 1.6 self aligning roller rockers on there car without changing valves and springs. i keep hearing about possible valve float or coil bind, i might be getting a deal on some but want to make sure that im not asking for trouble by installing these on my car. thanks for the help.

If you're using the stock cam, you can use a cheap set of LT4 springs.

Someone should make a sticky about roller rockers. As long as you're running the stock cam there's nothing wrong w/ throwing 1.6 rockers on the car. It would be a wise idea to upgrade valve springs while you're at it. Combination Motorsports sells a decent valve spring for Aluminum heads.
